How Pop Culture Failed Me is a podcast about how pop culture failed me, where "me" is defined as a middle-aged transwoman named Violet who lives in a cold climate and eats lots of pizza rolls.

Violet, like the color. Violet works in libraries and bookstores and can otherwise be found editing audio and tuning kalimbas. Violet is surprisingly good at video games and knowing the real names of rock stars. Violet majored in music, then art, and finally English. Violet was built by Darth Vader although he forgot about it later.

It's not Violet's fault if you turn gay from listening to this podcast, unless you're happy about it, in which case, you're welcome.
